The way you submit your timesheets has changed.
You will need to log on to HR Organiser and submit your pay claim there.
You will need your University username and password to log on to HR Organiser. This is the same username and password you use to access the University network and/or webmail.
If you do not know your University username, please ask the Exams Office by emailing exams-staff@essex.ac.uk.
If you do not know your password, you can reset it at www.essex.ac.uk/password. You will need your PRID for this, which is the first five letters of your surname followed by five numbers. You can obtain your PRID from several places:
- On your Campus Card (also known as a staff card), if you have one. This is the card issued by People & Culture with a barcode on it and "STAFF" printed along the bottom, not the invigilator ID badge that we used to print for you in the Exams Office.
- If you are a student as well as a staff member, your PRID appears on your student registration card.
- Email exams-staff@essex.ac.uk and ask Tom to retrieve your PRID from the HR system (this can only be done by Tom as your line manager).
There is a step-by-step guide to submitting your timesheet.
Previously, most pay claims for departmentally-run tests had to be submitted via the department for which you did the work. This is no longer the case - you can submit all your pay claims via HR Organiser, and they will go to the Exams Office for approval. However, you must tell the Exams Office if you carry out work for an academic department, as the Exams Office are obliged to reject your pay claim if they don't know anything about it.
