Enter Withdean woods from the coords set for the cache.

The gate will appear chained but it is actually open.

You then have two pathways to choose from. One takes you up along the top of the woods; the other takes you alongside the stadium. Choose one and proceed. If you don’t find a marker within a few meters of the one path then go back and try the other path.

Look out for single markers and follow them until you come to a double marker. This will have a cache hidden at the base of that tree with the N coords for the final cache and also directions to get back on the path to find the W coords. Make a note of these N coords and then place the cache back as you found it.

Once back on the trail of single markers look out for the second double marker which again will have a cache at the base of that tree with the W coords. Replace the cache as you found it and you then have both N and W coords to use your GPS device to find the final cache with the log book inside.

The trail takes you from one end of the woods to the other but veering off the pathway at times which can get very slippery. Then a simple walk back alongside the stadium to the start point.

It’s that simple but please take great care and wear adequate footwear.
