Awareness Declaration
Concerning Accreditation
1) I am aware that Foundation Academy of Amsterdam (Foundation) does not issue Bachelor- and Master degrees and is not accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Organization (NVAO). I am aware that Foundation is a private, tuition-free, non-governmental institution. Foundation is not and does not claim to be accredited by any government or any department of education. Foundation is not designed to meet the needs of students intending to utilize governmental funds. Foundation makes no representations, promises, or guarantees of employment or acceptability of transfer credits to any public or private educational institution. Foundation offers education for those who have no chance or possibility to access higher education, due to economic, political or religious reasons.
2) I am aware that Foundation encourages the prospective students to study at a regular university in their own countries. However, if due to various reasons such as financial resources, political or religious reasons they cannot afford to pursue their Christian education at a regular university, then they are welcome to apply at Foundation. We are more than glad to assist them. The applicant needs to have a valid reason why he/she choose to study with Foundation, if not the applicant is sincerely advised to apply for a governmental university. Thus, based on this mentioned fact, I still choose to apply for admission at Foundation upon my own free choice.
3) I am aware of that Foundation's programs are not accredited governmentally, but accredited by International Council For Higher Education (ICHE) (www.ichenetwork.org), a private Christian Accrediting institution.
4) I am aware that Foundation is a member of the European Evangelical Accrediting Association. (www.eeaa.eu) The EEAA is charter member of the International Council for Theological Education (ICETE), a full member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and an Associate of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). Preparations are currently underway to apply for inclusion in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).
Concerning Christian Values
I am aware that Foundation is a Christian inspired academy. Even though I may not be a Christian or a follower of any religion, upon admission, I promise that I will not publish, or make any verbal or written statement that will ridicule, humiliate Christianity or other religions and belief systems.
Concerning my application
I am aware that my application can be rejected upon the advice of the board of directors and academics of the Foundation.
