We are very grateful that you have made a movie about your personal choices and behaviour while on lockdown. We look forward to sharing it online as encouragement to others to do the same.
Sharing personal content online is not without risks, and we'd like to you feel comfortable about these. Here are some tips:
1. When you make your movie, only use your first name, and only share general information about yourself, such as where you live or your job or family.
2. Make sure there is no specifically identifying information in the movie, such as your house number, well-known landmarks nearby, or letters with your address appearing in the movie.
3. If you have challenging reactions to your content online, sometimes this is a good sign: it means people are thinking about the issues you raise, and can lead to good online conversations. However, if you're uncomfortable you can switch off comments, or remove the content. Please feel free to ask us to remove content if anything uncomfortable happens.
4. Familiarise yourself with the safety and privacy controls of the social media that you will use, they are all laid out here: https://www.saferinternet.org.uk/advice-centre/social-media-guides
