• Change Campaign Proposal

    Lead time: min of 6 weeks prior to proposed start date of campaign.
  • Thank you for taking the first step towards submitting a Change Campaign proposal. This proposal will be sent to the Campaigns Committee at NUSU and you will be invited to discuss your proposal at the next meeting.

    To help the Campaigns Committee decide whether or not to endorse your campaign, where possible please provide as much information as you can with links to our current campaign priorities, as well as clear aims, objectives, budget requirements, activities, and resources.

    Please read: Before submitting this proposal, you may want to discuss your proposal priorities with the Your Voice team (cdc.union@ncl.ac.uk) or discuss promotion and digital assistance with the Digital Marketing Team (digitalteam.union@newcastle.ac.uk) before submitting.     • Campaign Priorities: You can check out what this year's campaign priorities are by following this link. Each campaign must fall under one of these priorities. 

    • The length of your campaign: Do not feel pressure to run a week-long campaign. Short campaigns can have a lot of impact. Where-as sometimes it may take longer than a week to achieve your aim. Build the length of your campaign around what you want to achieve and how long it will take you to get there.

    • Your Objectives: When submitting your objectives, you want to, where possible, make them SMART. For example: reduce the cost of hot drinks to £1.50 by the end of this semester/ have 600 students attend a specific event.
