    All sections of this form must be filled in completely (where applicable). If using a Mac, please avoid using the Safari browser as certain fields cannot be completed using Safari.

    Please ensure that you have carefully read and understood the terms and conditions overleaf prior to submitting your application. 
     
    Once this form has been submitted you will recieve a confirmation email within 7 working days (please check junk) 
     
    A non-refundable deposit of £295 is required along with all other necessary forms in order for an application to be processed and a place to be secured.

  • *Important: We are reviewing Distance Learning Study and this will be confirmed as an option around June. Please note, you must reside outside of a 65 mile radius from Huddersfield in order to register your interest as a Distance Learning Student.

  • 3. Payment of Course Fees

  • Course payment should be made in full prior to the start of the course. A payment plan is offered to students who are in financial difficulty and are unable to make payment in full.

    The first payment of a payment plan will be collected either in September or the first month that you start (if you join the course after the start date).

    A limited number of grants are available for students who are unable to pay the course fee.

  • *Students will be required to submit a separate online form for this option. Students will be emailed the respective forms upon submitting this form.
     
     
  • 4. Terms and Conditions

  • Application

    Each applicant must submit a completed application form and non-refundable £295 deposit in order to secure their place on the Micro-Madrasa course. Students repeating a year must also do the same. Students applying for an SDF grant should await a decision on their SDF application before making any payment.

  • Course Fee Payment

    The course fee for each academic year is £895. This is made up of the deposit (£295) and the remaining course fee (£600). The remaining course fee should be paid prior to the start of the course. If this is not possible, a payment plan can be requested to make payment over a set period of months [An email will be sent out and students will be required to submit further details if this option is chosen]. Greensville Trust reserves the right to cancel a student’s enrolment if deposits/payments are not paid when due. Permission to attend classes will be granted on the basis that one has completed their course fee payment. Late applicants/enrollers are required to pay the full course fee (£895) regardless of the date they start on the course.

  • Distance Learning Student Option (Under review - To be confirmed as an option around June 2021)

    An applicant who submits a completed application to be a Distance Learning Student for the Foundation Year at the Huddersfield Madrasa must reside beyond a 65 mile radius of Huddersfied City Centre. A Distance Learning Student is encouraged to attend the classes in person, however prior notice must be given to Adminstration. A Distance Learning Student can only attend classes in the Huddersfield Madrasa. The course fee is the same as the standard fee (£895) and is not subject to any concession. Please note that attendance based students will be given priority in the Sanctuary Retreat applications.

  • Scholarship Development Fund 

    The Micro-Madrasa course fee is not subject to any concessions. As such, applicants with financial constraints should apply for a grant through the SDF (forms can be obtained from the administration). All students who are awarded a grant from the SDF are required to pay a (non-refundable) deposit of £295. Scholarship students are welcome to contribute towards the SDF. Greensville Trust has the right to cancel a student’s scholarship at any point in the academic year should the conditions of the scholarship fail to be met. Students can not apply for a scholarship grant once the course has commenced.

  • Cancellations & Refunds

    Should you cancel your application, you shall forfeit some or all of your payment, depending on the date of such cancellation, as follows:

    1. Notification received by the end of Week One of the course: The deposit is non-refundable.

    2. Notification received by the end of Week Four of the course: You will owe 50% of the full course fee (£447.50).

    3. Notification received after Week Five of the course: There are no refunds. You will owe Greensville Trust the full course fee (£895).

  • Online Content Access

    Access to class recordings and supplementary notes will be available through the Madrasa’s Online Portal. Whilst every effort will be made to provide access to recordings of each and every class, there may be occasions where substitute recordings are used. Access to online content will be granted to registered students for one academic year only. Returning/progressing students will have access to content from previous years so long as they are registered for that academic year. Online content will not be available for download.

  • Limitation of Liability

    Greensville Trust shall not be responsible for any loss or injury obtained when attending as a student of the Greensville Trust Micro-Madrasa course. By signing this agreement, you agree that you, your heirs, legal representatives, or any member of your family will not make a legal claim against or sue Greensville Trust for its work in managing and administering the Greensville Trust Micro-Madrasa. If any portion of this agreement is unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. This agreement shall be construed, enforced, and governed according to the laws of England and applicable to agreements made and to be performed in the United Kingdom. Any reference herein to the limitation of liability of Greensville Trust shall also mean that all agents, servants and employees of Greensville Trust shall have no individual liability whatsoever in connection with such specified events. This agreement sets forth the entire agreement of the parties and may only be changed or provisions waived by a writing signed by both parties.
