Please note that everyone who has contributed to the making of the Film (“the Filmmaking Team and Contributors”) must each complete and sign a Release Form. All the signed Release Forms must be uploaded to the FAS website at the same time as you upload your Film. If this does not happen, FAS will not be able to screen and make your Film available on its viewing platform and your Film will not be submitted to the other events and opportunities which are part of the 1.5° Film Challenge (“the Associated Events”).
Thank you for submitting your Film to the 1.5° Film Challenge. In consideration of mutual exchange of obligations, we agree the following:
- You grant FAS a non-exclusive licence in perpetuity giving FAS the right to broadcast the Film, including your Contribution, and make it available by any means and in any and all media now known or in the future invented in connection with the 1.5° Film Challenge and on the FAS website.
- You authorise FAS to share the Film with others in order for it to be considered for inclusion in the Associated Events.
- You authorise FAS to use clips and stills from the Film and consent to the use of your name and approved image in connection with marketing and promotion of the Film and the project and for project evaluation purposes.
- You confirm that to the best of your knowledge and belief, the Film does not infringe the copyright or any other rights of any third party and is not defamatory.
- FAS acknowledges that You and the Filmmaking Team still own the Film and continue to be able to broadcast and exploit it as You wish.
- This Release Form is governed by the laws of Scotland and the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts applies.
FAS will not use personal details (such as email or postal address, telephone number) in a photograph used for marketing purposes.
