  • The standard Registration Package includes a Trade License, the registration fee, Registrations at Tax Office (since 1.1.2024 restrictions apply), Social Security, Public Health Care (if eligible)

    but does *not* include the Consultations before and after Registration, help with visa / residence permit application or rental contract (you can select those as optional extra services below)

    The Consultation BEFORE Registration (*OPTIONAL*) is about

    • Tax / Social / Health calculations based on your Revenue,
    • Business- and residence address,
    • Visa / residence permit,
    • Foreign income
    • + any questions you may have

    The Consultation AFTER Registration (*OPTIONAL*) is about

    • VAT registrations & VAT Return filing obligations,
    • accouting- and bookkeeping requirements,
    • how to deal with expense deduction & reimbursement,
    • how to create an invoice,
    • monthly Social- and Health payments,
    • instructions for visa extension,
    • setup of your Datova Schranka.

    Condition for the second consultation: to be booked within 3 months after the Trade License was registered, the consultation deals only with the subjects mentioned above. The second consultation can not be 'saved' to be used later for another purpose.

  • IMPORTANT: The Virtual Office costs include registration fee, the handling fee + 12 months of virtual office service. It is possible to move a TL to a different address in future or keep the VO. After about a year you will get an invoice for that directly from the VO provider.

    IMPORTANT: Virtual Offices include mail forwarding / pickup / sending scans to you, except he 'Only address' option. Mailforwarding is not really important anymore - see reason below.

    Starting 2023, a 'Datova Schranka' (DS) is obligatory, and the authorities will no longer send paper letters, but correspond through the DS. Initial registration documents will be sent to our DS, because we represent you at the authorities.

    IMPORTANT OWN ADDRESS as business address: In case you want to use your own address, you  MUST send a paper original of the owner's permission (NOT a scan). No original = no registration.

  • Select 'no VAT' if you invoice outside CZ and EU, to VAT-less entities or in case of doubt (you can always register for VAT later).

    Select 'VAT-Light' if you are going to invoice B2B inside Europe (but outside CZ) to clients with a foreign VAT number (typically remote services)

    Select 'Full-VAT'  *ONLY possible* when you already have invoiced >2.54M CZK in the last calendar year FROM CZECH SOURCES. The Full-VAT status is something that can not be obtained at the start of a business.

     

  • REMOTE REGISTRATION is for people who are not able to come to CZ / Prague AND REQUIRE ORIGINALS.

    For all others it is not necessary - it will only get more complicated and expensive.

  • Who does NOT need a Police Clearance:

    • EU citizen / EU family member with Temporary Residence Permit
    • EU citizen with rental contract longer than 3 months in CZ (not AirBnB)
    • Ukranian Citizen with docasna ochrana / temporary protection visa
    • UK Citizen with Temporary Residence Permit with exception 50
    • Permanent Resident / Czech National
