tsiMORAY Application for Membership & Organisation Registration
tsiMORAY membership is free and unlocks the door to a one stop shop of resources, support and guidance, (including training, forums and events) for Moray’s third sector.

We are the Third Sector Interface (TSI) for Moray, part of the network of Third Sector Interfaces (TSI’s) in every local authority across Scotland. We are also a local charity.

With broad charitable aims, we seek to build the capacity of our third sector and communities locally, for the benefit of all people living in Moray. We promote community participation in the public life of Moray, through supporting and promoting volunteering, facilitating third sector engagement in planning and decision-making processes through regular forums and networks, as well as offering community groups, charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises guidance on relevant and member-led topics such as governance and funding.

Our Vision - A vibrant third sector in a resilient and sustainable Moray

Our Mission - To bring together and support our third sector, enabling its full participation in the sustainable development of Moray
As stated in our Memorandum and Articles of Association, our objectives are:
1. the advancement of education
2. the advancement of health
3. the prevention or relief of poverty
4. the advancement of citizenship, community development and social enterprise
5. the advancement of environmental protection or improvement
6. the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science
7. the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended
8. the advancement of urban and rural regeneration
9. promotion of growth within the third sector, including taking initiatives that will increase trading activity, innovation and business development within the third sector.

Full Voting Membership: Open to group members being representative of a third sector organisation which is operational or based in Moray.

Full Voting Membership
The directors will consider your application at the next Board meeting and notify you of their decision by email or post. Full members are entitled to elect and be elected as Directors. Full Voting Membership is open to third sector organisations that are either based in, or operational in, Moray.

All members will receive regular updates and are welcome to comment on, support and get involved in our activities.

*Our constitution states that ”membership shall usually be denied to any organisation whose membership is unduly restricted or withheld or members expelled on the basis of gender, age, ethnic background, disability, caring responsibilities, sexual orientation, religious belief, or marital status.”
