Fleet SA Handbook including Fleet SA Vehicular Incident and Accident Form.
Fuel card (if not retained on key ring).
Vehicle in current service miles & time, evidence -stamped/dated Service Book.
Current vehicle registration label - if vehicle has non-Government plates.
Number plates are legible and undamaged.
First Aid Kit in vehicle, does it require replenishing?
All sets of keys are available and work.
Vehicle free from damage (scratches, dents and marks)
If damage is present, including dents and scratches – Notify manager.
Windscreen/windows - clean & free of cracks/chips.
Windscreen/rear wiper blades work effectively.
Mirrors are clean, free from damage and easily adjusted.
All lights, incl. indicator & brake lights, working & lenses clean & undamaged?
The warning device (horn) works
Seat belts in good condition & operating correctly e.g. retracting & fastening?
Interior of vehicle is clean & in good condition.
Tyres (incl. spare) in good condition & inflated to recommended pressures on tyre placard, i.e. even tread depth at least 3mm, free of cuts, damage, flat spots or foreign bodies?
Brakes, incl. park brake in good working order (dashboard check only required).
Is the vehicle is a station wagon or 4WD?
If Yes - is a cargo barrier in place?
Any item identified as non compliant during inspection requires a corrective action to be specified and the action transferred to the Corrective Action Register.
