I give this film 5 stars as Sir Christopher Lee puts on a wonderful performance, the wid-haired, hedonistic scottish lord played by Christopher is a rare relish and style he shows Edward Woodward around his ornate tropical garden, or Christopher dressing up in full gypsy drag to lead the islanders to the beach.it is simply quite a fascinating film in lee's acting career, i believe this is the best performances he has given, the film is so erotic, romantic, witty, savage and terrifying. something for everyone and functions on every conceivable level. a unique picture.

The Wicker Man starring Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward, simply has to be one of the best, if not the BEST British Horror film ever made. Christopher was said many times it was the best film he ever did, and it's little wonder compared to some of the naff roles he had done previously. It showed there was a lot more to him than just playing Dracula or Frankenstein's Monster in the Hammer Films.

The music perfectly matches the film. And as for that ending !!! If you've never seen it, I highly recommend it. And it's got Britt Eckland dancing in the nude, what more do you want.
