Your non refundable session fee is required at the time of booking in order to reserve your session. Your session fee covers immediate family members only, extra family members/friends are at an extra £5 per head. Your session fee includes your photo session and one A4 print of your choice. Your desired session is not reserved until the session fee is received full and clear. If you cancel/reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, you forfeit your whole session fee and may not reschedule without a new session fee being paid. Re-scheduling may occur to save your deposit if you give at least 48 hours notice and the session is rescheduled within 2 weeks of the original reserved date or if there is a family emergency or serious illness. I cannot always guarantee an available date two weeks out but will try my best to accommodate. Should the photographer need to reschedule due to family emergency or illness the deposit will be fully transferable/refundable to the client.

Your completed gallery will be ready for viewing within 3 weeks of your session. Edited images are uploaded to a personal online viewing gallery, which can be access for a 7 day period only. Within these 7 days you can view the images as many times as you like in order to choose your package option. Please ensure that you only request for your gallery to be activated once you are ready to view/choose your package as there will be a reactivation fee of £10 should you need the gallery to be reopened.
Please refrain from saving/screenshotting from the viewing gallery, this is a breech of copyright law (see below for more details).
All payments for Packages and extra products are due in full unless a payment plan is requested and agreed to. Orders will not be processed until full payment is received and cleared. If client has arranged a payment plan, orders will be placed after the final payment has been received. Products will be available for collection or delivery within 2 weeks of cleared payment.
Photographer is not responsible for any damage of portraits after delivery to client. Client assumes all responsibility for the safety of all portraits upon receipt.
It is advised to come dressed in plain/neautral clothing that compliments eachother. Please avoid any large logos or distracting patterns, this is to enable us to create timeless images.
Client(s) will be responsible for themselves and their children, we cannot be held accountable for your appearance.
Sessions will start at the agreed upon time, so please arrive within 15 minutes of your session to ensure we have enough time to welcome you and settle in. Clients arriving more than 30 minutes late will forfeit their session and NO refund will be given.
Personal cameras are not allowed during your session. Please refrain from taking images or video taping. We work very hard to ensure your session is captured artistically and creatively. We ask that you respect our livelihood and refrain from taking photographs of what we are creating.
In order to showcase my talents and portfolio as a photographer I require to use images online for the promotion of Butterworth and English Photography. The images produced from your session may be used on Butterworth and English Photography's Website/Social Media pages and in promotional work such as special offer flyers/business cards handed out to the general public. Please use the comments section above to express your wishes should you wish your images to remain private.
Butterworth and English Photography retains all copyrights to all images created during client’s session. A print release will be given with digital files to print portraits for personal use. The print release does not allow publication of your portraits (i.e. entering into contests), selling or altering of your images without the photographer’s written permission. It is illegal to copy, scan, download, print, alter, or otherwise steal any images created by Butterworth and English Photography from an online gallery. This applies to "sneak peek" images, images posted in an online proofing gallery, blog, Social Media, or hard copy images. If client steals images via any method listed above, or any other method, client will be invoiced for the cost of EACH digital image client has stolen, at photographer’s current price per digital file.
Note from Gemma and Elle: We work very hard to create images that reflect you and your family, while keeping in line with our artistic vision and creativity. We know you will want to share them and we include a sneak-peek for that very reason. However, we ask that you simply link back to our blog/website/facebook page instead of right-clicking, saving, and sharing the image via your own page. We hope that you will respect not only our hard work, but the time, money, and dedication that I have put into training and equipment to capture these images for you.
