Dr Sarah Temple is a GP in Somerset in the UK with a special interest in neurodevelopment and the link between emotional, mental and physical health.
She is the founder of EHCAP, a consultancy offering innovative solutions to Education, Health, Care and Prison services, and has significant experience working collaboratively across agencies to improve outcomes for children and young people into adulthood and develop public services that offer better value.
Sarah is currently leading The Public Health funded Somerset Emotion Coaching Project. The Project began in January 2015 with a training program for over 100 staff. Sarah now coaches and supervises staff and parents to cascade their learning about emotion resilience across children's services as well as with parents, children and young people.
In this workshop, she will explain the link between mindfulness and emotion coaching, with reference to Dan Siegel's Hand model of the brain and John Gottman's 5 steps of Emotion Coaching. She will also explain how EHCAP works with school teachers to regulate their emotions and how teachers are coached to work with students. Finally, she will explain how participants can access the many free educational resources available on the EHCAP site.
Depending on your current level of experience in working with emotional and mental health difficulties this workshop will provide you with the skills and on line resources to cascade Mindful Emotion Coaching within your organisation.
Please use this form to sign up to book your attendance. An invoice for £150 will be emailed to you.
