Dr Sarah Temple is a GP in Somerset in the UK with a special interest in neurodevelopment and the link between emotional, mental and physical health.
She is the founder of EHCAP, a consultancy offering innovative solutions to Education, Health and Care services, and has significant experience working collaboratively across agencies to improve outcomes for children and young people into adulthood and develop public services that offer better value.
Sarah is currently leading The Public Health funded Somerset Emotion Coaching Project and providing training for staff working with SHARE (CAMHS) in Somerset.
In the one day introduction, she will explain the link between mindfulness and emotion coaching, with reference to Dan Siegel's Hand model of the brain and John Gottman's 5 steps of Emotion Coaching. She will also explain how EHCAP works with schools, social care and health services.. Finally, she will share how you can access the many free educational on line resources.
Depending on your current level of experience in working with emotional and mental health difficulties this workshop will provide you with the skills and on line resources to cascade Mindful Emotion Coaching within your organisation.
