The role of the Education Department in The Hunt Museum is to utilise the collection, the expertise and enthusiasm of the museum staff and its partners as well as providing learning opportunities for a broad range of audiences and at all levels.
Please read the important below information about bringing your group to the museum :
Upon arrival - Groups should gather in the gated courtyard in front of the entrance to the Museum, if the weather permits. A designated group leader must pay and liaise with Reception upon arrival. For guided tour or workshop visits, your guide or workshop leader will meet your group in the lobby of the Museum. If your group arrives early, please be patient as your guide may not be available until the time specified in your booking.
Conduct - Leaders are requested to remain with their group throughout the visit, especially if they are accompanying minors. Leaders are responsible for the welfare and behaviour of their groups at all times during the visit. Groups that are disruptive or disrespectful to other visitors or to museum staff may be asked to leave. Our full code of conduct and health ans safety policy for group visits is available upon request.
Please be prompt. If your group is late, contact us as soon as possible, but please be aware we may have to cut your tour/workshop short in order to accommodate other bookings. If your booking has minors please contact us for information on required adult-child ratios for your group.
Cancellation policy - There is no charge for cancellations more than 48 hours in advance. Cancellations with less notice will be invoiced for the full amount (special circumstances may apply).
