Emotion Coaching Training 2018 – Staff Wellbeing and Development
Public Health has commissioned a further phase of Mindful Emotion Coaching training for staff working in children’s services in Somerset. This phase is an extension of the offer to primary and middle school settings targeting SENCOs, SLT and staff with direct teaching responsibilities. This training will focus more closely on using the Emotion Coaching process to develop skills of self-care and resilience for teaching staff.
The workshops will be in The SHED at Frogmary Green Farm, Ilminster.
Delegates attending the training will be expected to:
· Be prepared to cascade the training and skills to the wider staff in their organisation
· Take part in a short anonymous ACEs Quiz
· Gain full agreement and support from their Senior Leadership Team
The training opportunity will involve two days commitment. This will break down into two separate half day workshops, held at Frogmary Green Farm, and two flexible working half days which for those travelling long distance will necessarily include travelling time. There will be the option to take part in group and one to one video link coaching to support cascading.
The training dates are:
3rd October and 15th October - Afternoons (12.15pm to 4pm) FULL
4th October and 16th October - Mornings (08.30 am to 12.15 am)
