Monitoring and evaluation can be a source of both confusion and contention for organisations, practitioners, and funders or commissioners. Working with people, we are all hoping to make a difference to the lives of those we work with. How do we know we are making a difference? How can we prove it? On whose terms? And at whose expense?
At this workshop Hot Chocolate Trust will share their approaches to monitoring and evaluation and suggest that a rethink can make for better work as well as better reports. The day will be led by Dave Close, Director of Hot Chocolate and Charis Robertson, Assistant Director.
