  • Needs Assessment Criteria

  • Unmarried children of ministers whose parent’s credentials are held on a district of the Church of the Nazarene in the British Isles may receive an annual bursary of 20% of the balance of the tuition fee not covered by any loan, award or other bursary provided that the child has not reached his or her twenty-sixth birthday on the day of registration on the BA or BA (Honours) course.

  • Unmarried children of ministers or missionaries whose parent’s credentials are held on a district of the Church of the Nazarene outside of the British Isles, may receive an annual bursary of 10% of the balance of the tuition fee not covered by any loan, award or other bursary provided that the child has not reached his or her twenty-sixth birthday on the day of registration on the BA or BA (Honours) course.

  • Students whose Parents are Faculty Members from NTC, and Institutions of the EURASIA Region Education Council (EEC), and who are citizens or residents of the United Kingdom and European Union will be expected to show evidence of application for all possible state aid (loans, grants, bursaries) available to them. Should the student receive state aid NTC will cover only the balance between the amount shown to have been received and the amount of tuition owing to NTC. Should the student be refused support and be able to give evidence of this, NTC will remit the tuition in full subject to the following conditions:

    1. The student is under the age of 25 years old at the commencement of the course;
    2. The student is enrolled on a full-time residential course leading to an undergraduate qualification (BA, DipHE, CertHE);
    3. The student pays all additional fees, such as University Fee, residence fees, and any other fees that are not tuition fees;
    4. The level of tuition remission allocated will be based (pro-rata) on the nature of the faculty appointment: a full-time post will attract full remission of relevant fees; a 50% appointment will attract 50% of relevant fees. Adjunct Faculty members are not covered by this policy.

  • Any full-time NTC student on an RCOSAC-approved course of study who is an approved candidate for Ministry in the Church of the Nazarene as confirmed by the Board of Ministry BISD or BIND, and holds a local or district license, is eligible for a Ministerial Scholarship subject to funds being available.
