    INTERNSHIP & VOLUNTEER

    APPLICATION FORM
  • Thank you for inquiring about crewing with Sea Shepherd Netherlands! We have chosen to do this form in English as this our international language of choice, even though we're based in Amsterdam. Please feel free to answer the questions in Dutch, if this is more convenient.

Sea Shepherd The Netherlands is based in Laren, sharing the HQ building with Sea Shepherd Global. Its mission is to raise funds and reach out to supporters, and in doing so enabling Sea Shepherd Global to initiate and coordinate direct action campaigns.

Please take your time while filling out this form. The more information we receive, the easier it is for us to determine how we may work together.

This form is not to be used to apply for taking part in Sea Shepherd Global campaigns or maritime volunteering. Please go here to learn more. This application form is for volunteering or internships based in The Netherlands only.

  • Selection Process

Below is an outline on how we select volunteers:

    Time Available
We first look at the “Dates Available” area on all applications, as we are usually filling positions for a specific period of time. We would also consider anyone that has written “Open” or “Any time” in the Dates Available field. The minimum commitment is at least 3 months.

    Positions Available
These are the areas with regular vacancies:

    1. Events
    2. Translations

Please list your skills down below so we have a good idea about your capabilities. Should anything be unclear, then a Skype or personal meeting will usually take care of outstanding questions we may have.

Sea Shepherd Netherlands is a very small organization, so please allow us two weeks to process your application.
