Membership Types

Full membership is available to owners of qualifying traditionally built craft either from the Thames or other waterways and of any age. Associate membership is available to those who have a interest in the activities of the club but do not own a qualifying boat. A qualifying boat is one constructed of Wood (Timber planks or Marine Plywood), Riveted Steel or Iron and built by one of the following methods: Carvel, Clinker or Double Diagonal planking, Cold or Hot moulding or Riveting.

When we receive your application, the committee will consider it and if accepted we will submit your cheque or Standing Order for payment. Your membership pack will then be sent.

The cost is £30 per year with a one off joining fee of £15. Membership renewal is due in January. Members joining on or after 1st Oct are deemed to have paid for the following year. An enamelled plaque is supplied for display on the members boat registered with the club, this remains the property of the club. Members may purchase additional plaques for other qualifying boats in their possession at the current price.

The preferred method of payment is by standing order but can also be made by Cheque or BACS
The cost is £20 per year with a one off joining fee of £15. Membership renewal is due in January. Members joining on or after 1st Oct are deemed to have paid for the following year. Associate members may become Full members in the future if they acquire a qualifying boat.
