In order to be able to connect to the Society's distribution points, it will be necessary for you to provide and use a compatible cable and connection which conforms with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
Electricity outlets for outside exhibitors will be situated at strategic points on the Showground and within 30m of your stand. There will be no 13amp connections available except for stands in the Pavilion. The type of cabling and connection you will require to bring with you are as follows:
SIZE TYPESupplies up to 16 amps (3kw) 2.5 3138YAG BS4343 ARTIC CABLE (Blue)

Please note that connections above 32amp single phase are not available on the showground. Also, there are no 3 phase supplies available on the showground.
(MINIMUM LENGTH OF CABLE REQUIRED = 30 METRES)
Any person not in possession of the correct cabling and connections will be refused electrical connection.
Exhibition Pavilion - Exhibitors will be able to connect directly into 13amp outlets.
All cable extensions and connecting couplings must carry a P.A.T. Test Certificate (Portable Appliance Test) valid for the duration of the Show. A photocopy of the test certificate must be attached or be forwarded to the Show Office 1 month prior to the Show.
The Society will be empowered to refuse electrical connection if a valid test certificate is not received within 1 month of the Show.
It is a requirement that you list ALL items of electrical equipment along with the wattage of each appliance. This enables us to give the correct power requirements for the venue to the electricians. Items not listed below must not be used.
You will also be required to produce a valid electrical test certificate for each appliance used and made available for inspection by our electricians. Failure to produce a valid certificate will result in the organisers not permitting you to use the appliance.
Exhibitor Car Passes MUST be restricted to the absolute minimum and only ONE will be allowed in respect of each stand. The vehicle using this pass must be parked out of sight at the exhibitor car park, and this vehicle MUST be the only vehicle parked in this area. THIS PASS WILL BE SUPPLIED ON ARRIVAL. Staff or volunteers 'manning' your stand on show days should park in the public car park.
Each exhibitor is allocated 2 passes per day for the duration of the event. Extra pre-ordered staff entry tickets are available at £14 per person per day
Please note: all exhibitors/traders need to submit a copy of their public liability and food hygiene certificates (if applicable):
