We are looking for an Asset Manager to join the biomass team. You will be responsible for a broad range of tasks within the biomass asset management team. As we work with energy assets in long term partnerships, stakeholder management is a pivotal part of the job, along with commercial development. Furthermore, it will be your responsibility to develop proper reporting from asset portfolio companies to CIP and through that tracking and monitoring operational and financial performance. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with joint venture agreements, credit facility agreements etc.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
Ensure the asset business case is delivered upon, through e.g. cash flow optimizations and identification of commercial opportunities
Engage with portfolio project companies and external stakeholders to ensure proper information flow to CIP
Providing support to the ongoing risk analysis and subsequent development and execution of risk mitigation action plans
Develop reporting to CIP´s investors in close cooperation with the finance team
The ideal candidate
As the ideal candidate you have completed your master’s degree in the top percentile of your class. This is combined with 3-5 years of relevant experience from leading private equity firms, top management consulting firms or utilities, where you have developed strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Furthermore, you have strong interpersonal skills and are used to working both independently and in teams with a large set of stakeholders, ranging from internal colleagues in CIP to project companies and suppliers. You can manage multiple different tasks with attention to detail and are used to independently structure problems and develop solutions. As the position has a broad scope, general interest and understanding of a full business model from technical and financial items to tax structuring, regulation and administrative processes is important. As you are used to working in an international setting, you have excellent language skills in Danish and English.
