Other Roles at Burn FM:
Don't worry if your application isn't successfull this time around! We'll be asking for applications in January for shows in the Spring Term. There are also lots of other ways to get involved with BURN FM
Fresh Burn: Have you ever listened to the radio and thought, I’d love to have a go at that? Fresh Burn is your opportunity to host your very own, one-off show on BURN FM and just give it a go.
You could do your own takeover and call all the shots, or get a group of mates together and play your 'go to' playlist that accompanies all your legendary nights out. Show us what you’ve got with our brand new Friday night slot, open to ALL from 6-7pm. This is your chance to have a little taste of just how sweet BURN FM is and have a blast on air.
You'll never know if you don’t give it a go!!!
Writer / Journalist: A key element of Burn FM is our online content, as well as the creation of reports for on-air distribution. Our departments are split into; Music (firstname.lastname@example.org), Sport (email@example.com), News (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Arts (email@example.com). With this comes opportunities to receive press passes to all of your favourite events across Birmingham and the UK, including gigs, theatre shows, sporting fixtures and cultural occasions. Joining our teams and getting involved is a great way to strengthen your CV and provide experience that can prove instrumental in a media career.
All of these groups have a large presence on Facebook as well as other social media and you can sign up straight away by joining the department facebook groups!
Thank you very much for your time, and we look forward to meeting you.
