  • Before importing any non-regulated solid fuel wood (in the form of logs, kindling, twigs, billets or faggots) from all third countries, including EU member states, you must complete this form. Imports of regulated material (requiring a phytosanitary certificate) which now includes wood of Fraxinus (ash) from all countries, should follow the process as outlined on the government website: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/import-wood-wood-products-or-bark.

Imported consignments of regulated ash wood (Franxinus) must now follow the steps as outlined on the government website noted above which require prior notification of consignments i.e. at least four working hours before the goods land in GB, for air and ‘roll-on-roll-off’ freight and at least one working day before the goods arrive in the UK for all other freight.

This form, in respect of non-regulated material only, should be submitted before, or no later than four days after the date of their arrival  in England, Wales or Scotland.
