Rustic Sunday is a one day event that celebrates the vanishing skills and crafts that were once prevalent in rural country life, particularly around the turn of the 19th/20th century. This year it will be taking place on Sunday 25th July.
We are constantly reviewing the status of the government's COVID-19 restrictions and should this event require cancellation, all stallholders, demonstrators and traders will be notified as soon as possible.
Please read all the details contained in the Stallholder's Information Pack before completing this form. By completing and submitting this form, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions set out in the Stallholder's Information Pack.
Each year we invite craftspeople and masters of vanishing skills to join us at the museum for a day of country traditions and activities alongside music, Morris dancing, horse and cart rides, a kid’s zone and much more. Our army of volunteers are also heavily involved in showcasing their own skills and dressing up to bring the museum to life as it was when the buildings were first constructed.
The one-day event opens to the public at 10am and closes at 5pm with gate opening for stall set up at 8am.
Please note that this is not purely a craft and producer’s market. The day is full of entertainment and activities for visitors and the craft/producer’s market will run alongside it as part of the experience. Visitors to the museum will be paying the usual visitors’ entry fee.
PLEASE NOTE:
-This year, all pitches will be outdoors, in order to keep airflow to a maximum around stalls. This will still be the case should lockdown restrictions ease as the health and safety of our visitors, stallholders, entertainers, volunteers and staff is of paramount importance.
-Please bring your own gazebos, chairs and tables for outside pitches.
-All stallholders MUST have public liability insurance to book a place at this event. If you do not have the appropriate insurance you will not be able to participate in this event.
-If you are intending to bring any electrical items, they MUST have been PAT tested. Items are required to have a green and white PAT testing sticker and this will be checked on arrival at the Centre on event day.
-If you are making a booking to serve or sell food from your stall, please ensure you have your food hygiene certificate with you to display on the day of the event.
The information you provide will be used by the Rustic Sunday team in order to contact you and process your application.
