As part of our learning and assessment practices at the Federation, we regularly take photographs of children to support learning, celebrate achievements, and share experiences with families.
Photographs will be used for the following purposes:
Seesaw -this is a secure platform to share photos of your child(ren)with parents and relatives.
Displays around the school
In the Federation newsletter pictures of hands or children's work maybe used but you will not be able to identify children.
If we would like to use photographs for any other reason such as the Federation website a separate permission slip will be sent out at this time.
Images are stored securely and used in accordance with our safeguarding and data protection policies. No photographs will be shared on social media.
For the Federation website and newsletter, we will only use photographs in which children cannot be identified. This may include photographs of children's hands, pieces of work, or activities where individual children cannot be recognised.
Photographs in which children can be identified will only be uploaded to Seesaw and will be accessible only to relevant families and staff.
To comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we require your consent before taking photographs or making recordings of your child. Please answer the questions below and sign and date the form where indicated.
