General
The 'Company' is Wedding Decor Studio, 12 Charterhuse Drive, BA11 2XT, Frome.
The 'Customer' is any person or company who hires or has agreed to hire Goods from the Company. 'Goods or Equipment' means goods provided by the Company in accordance with the Company's standard Terms and Conditions of hire.
Booking Fee & Balance of Payment
Booking Fee of £100 is required to secure your wedding date and is deducted from the final invoice. If the Booking Fee isn’t received within 10 days of the order being placed, the booking will be deemed cancelled and the date will be released back to the general public. Booking Fee is non-refundable, even if the date is changed or the wedding cancelled for any reason, including acts of God, fire strike and/or extreme weather.
The second paymenf of 50% is due at the half time between booking payment and the last payment due one month before wedding date.
The Balance of Payment is due 50 days prior to the wedding date. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the second and final payment within the agreed time and if the final balance has not been paid within the agreed time limit the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled.
Payment may be made by cash or bank transfer. Company will not provide any services until your payment is received and approved.
Delivery/Collection
Company will provide delivery of all ordered items however are not responsible for incorrect delivery times or locations given to us by Customer. Free delivery service applies for 20mile radius from Frome. 50p per mile will be charged for an extra mileage outside of 20 mile radius.
If collected, once the order has left the premises, Wedding Decor Studio accept no responsibility for damages or losses.
In the event that Customer will not be available during the delivery they will be responsible for having a designated person meet the Decoration Supplier at the reception. This person will be required to sign a confirmation that the order has been received. This is to ensure that all items delivered are accounted for. All ordered items will be delivered at the date and time agreed upon between Customer and Wedding Decor Studio. We cannot be held responsible for any changes that are not made known.
Although every possible care will be taken with the delivery and set up of the order, once delivered and set up the order becomes the responsibility of the Customer. Wedding Decor Studio cannot be held responsible for any destruction of decorations or products once they are in the care of the Customer. Extra delivery and collection cost may be required if the Customer does not make clear before delivery any difficult to access premises which may require further staff or extra time.
Right of withdrawal
Discovery of new information, changes to agreed circumstances or other factors which tends to circumvent its policies may result in its withdrawal. Non co-operation, changes in locations, facilities or available times, missed appointments, non-confirmation of quote acceptance and late payments are examples of contributing factors. Should Wedding Decor Studio initiate the withdrawal, all fees will be returned, excluding the Booking Fee, as well as fair market value for all services / products already provided.
Cancellation
Wedding Decor Studio offers a bespoke service and is therefore limited in how many bookings are taken for any given week. If the Customer cancels the order within 3 months of the wedding date it is unlikely that the cancelled space will be filled and therefore the following cancellation charges will apply. Cancellations MUST be in writing.
50 days or less - 100% of Full Service Cost
51 days to 120 days - 50% of Full Service Cost
121 days or more - Loss of Booking Fee
In the exceptional circumstances Company may agree to postpone the wedding date subject to availibility. In the event of postponed wedding date being cancelled no refund will be given.
YOU ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO TAKE OUT INSURANCE IN ORDER TO COVER YOURSELVES IN
THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF YOU HAVING TO CANCEL YOUR FUNCTION.
Hiring Items
Prices quoted are for period of hire: 48 hours or Friday to Monday or as agreed with Wedding Decor Studio.
Losses, damage and dirty goods are charged at the full list replacement cost including burn, mildewed, torn or heavily stained linen which cannot be cleaned. For hired items security deposit will be required on booking which will be refunded once the order is checked back.
It’s Customer responsibility to arrange insurance in regard to theft,damage and public liability whilst goods are on hire.
All hired goods must be used in a safe manner, taking into account any instructions supplied with the equipment. No responsibility is accepted by Wedding Decor Studio for injury or damage caused by improper use of equipment.
All items hired from Wedding Decor Studio are to be collected by Wedding Decor Studio or returned by Customer within 24 hours of the event date. If Customer is unable to return the item(s) within this time scale a designated person must do so on Customer’s behalf. There is a £5.00 per day late payment fee for any hired items that are not uplifted and returned to Wedding Decor Studio by the required date of hire return.
Model Release
Customer hereby assigns and grants Wedding Decor Studio and its legal representatives the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of Customer or photographs in which they may be included, for editorial, trade, advertising or any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same. The Customer hereby releases Wedding Decor Studio and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs. It is agreed that Wedding Decor Studio may display and use the photographs taken for advertising, display, website and internet promotion, photographic contests, public display such as in trade shows, bridal shows, wedding industry publications, studio display, television advertising, magazine advertising and any other purpose thought proper by Wedding Decor Studio.
Limit of Liability
In the very unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, it may be necessary to retain an alternative Decoration Designer. Wedding Decor Studio will make every effort to secure a replacement decoration designer able and / or willing to provide similar products and services as chosen in this contract at the same / similar tariff. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.
Miscellaneous & Performance
Wedding Decor Studio will take the utmost care with respect to design, transportation and delivery of your decorations/ equipment. The limit of liability shall not exceed the contract price stated in the contract. Wedding Decor Studio is only held liable for the items and services listed in the contract. Wedding Decor Studio cannot be held liable for emotional, physical or financial distress due to any unforeseen circumstances that may present themselves. Items outside of this contract are the responsibility and liability of the Customer.
The performance of the contract on behalf of Wedding Decor Studio shall be dependent upon acts of God, weather and/or road conditions, flood, fire, warfare, government laws or regulations, electrical failure, strikes by suppliers, and / or conditions beyond its control.
Price Amendments
Prices are valid from 1st January to 31st December each year and are subject to change without notice.
By paying booking fee and submitting the form the Customer is agreeing to terms & conditions and entering into contract with Wedding Decor Studio.
