We are all facing a challenging time with the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). This is likely to affect us in different ways, with pressures to isolate to limit the impact on friends, family and the most vulnerable. The uncertainty surrounding this illness and its patterns poses challenges to definite planning for LIFEbeat programmes.
At this time, we intend to scale back our plans for this summer and to be on standby to run two camps if circumstances allow: one at Stanford Hall (22nd – 31st July) and one at Kilve Court (18th – 28th August). In mid-June, we will review the situation and make a decision on whether to run these camps
Should we be able to go ahead with these camps, we will bring together staff teams with a range of skills and experience to share. We will appoint key creative workshop facilitators to lead on evening activities and creative camp themes and the staff will be led by two Programme Leaders, a Camp Manager and a Camp Director. These camp staff teams will be supported by a strong group of volunteers who will also bring their talents and experience and act as mentors for the young people
Please register your interest in applying for a volunteer position by submitting this form. Contact Ana Pascual (Project Manager) on 07557 349005 or firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
We are so looking forward to another amazing year of LIFEbeat camps!
