  • VOLUNTEERS

A fulfilling volunteering opportunity is at the heart of LIFEbeat's programmes and community. We are deeply grateful for the large number of volunteers who give their energy, experience and talents to our community. Your gifts of time and service are at the heart of LIFEbeat's mission to serve our young people with love, integrity, creativity and hope. Volunteering at camp will require you to arrive with an open heart and willingness to take creative risks, connect with young people, and have fun. You'll have opportunities to lead activities but won't be required to do so.

You can read a full description of Roles & Responsibilities expected from Camp Volunteers clicking the link below

  • Discretionary fee

At LIFEbeat, we recognise the importance of having a staff team that reflects the richness of our world and is representative of the young people we serve. We know our community ecosystem becomes stronger with diversity.

We recognise not all members of our community are able to commit to a camp on a voluntary basis. As we seek to cultivate more equity and inclusion across our programmes, this year we are introducing a discretionary fee for members of our community who would like to participate in camps but are not in a position to volunteer.

A payment for participation in camp is available to members of our community who are not in a position to volunteer. Up to £250 is available as a discretionary fee. There are a limited number of discretionary fees available. Fees will be allocated confidentially.

Please indicate here if you are interested in discussing this option with us.
