What is a DTS?
DTS will definitely change your life. No doubt! Because of its unique design, DTS is very different from most of other short-term mission outreaches or bible schools. The Discipleship Training School will help you to get to know God personally. It has a strong focus on personal application. Many graduates say that it was a milestone in their life. DTS is an intensive course which begins with 12 weeks of lecture time followed by 2-3 months of practical outreach.

Lecture Phase offers a chance to have your view of God deepened and your heart changed. It consists of various elements, such as small groups, outreaches, practical ministries, one-on-one discipleship and of course classroom learning. Powerful teaching from international speakers and missionaries, intense community living - you will be challenged and encouraged!

Outreach Phase will give you the opportunity to apply the principles and truths you learned during your lectures. Discover the diversity of cultures and participate in God ́s purposes for the places you visit. Go and share his good news and love all around the world!

Prerequisites
For the most part, we accept applications from people aged 18-35. However, there are some exceptions to this guideline for individuals older and younger than this. We encourage you to contact us to see if you qualify for our program, regardless of your age.

If you are married, both partners are required to apply on a separate form.
Accreditation
20-24 credits (DSP 211/212) can be earned upon successful completion. Then the following opportunities are available to you:

- To join Youth With A Mission as staff in areas such as development aid, education, child and youth or family work, or other ministries.

- To pursue a degree through the University of the Nations, our international university with courses offered on all continents. The U of N degrees are internationally acknowledged. Possible are A.A. (Associate of Arts) and A.S. (Associate of Science), B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) or B.S. (Bachelor of Science), and different Master`s programs.

2. Registration Fee

There is a 30 Euro non-refundable, non-deductible administration fee. Please transfer the amount to the following bank:

3. Confidential References
Two reference forms are part of the application process.

One reference should be completed by your pastor, church leader, etc., one by a good friend.

4. What's next?
We will get in touch with you for a short phone/Skype call. After that we will pray about your application.

To us every applicant is a potential DTS student. We will notify you once you have been accepted into the school.

You can already fill out and submit the application form, but steps 1-3 must be completed before your application can be processed.
