The Will Hay Appreciation Society are proud to announce our 6th annual 'Hay Day', on Sunday 8th December 2019 at The National Justice Museum in Nottingham. Doors open at 10.30am and we expect to finish by 4.30pm.
All profits will be split between two causes. 50% will go to our Will Hay Memorial appeal, with plans to unveil memorials to Will Hay, Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt, plus towards the ongoing upkeep of Will Hay's grave.
The other 50% of any profits will be donated to the foodbank charity 'The Trussell Trust', following in the foodsteps of Will Hay himself, whose 1930s Narkover pin badges were sold in aid of a soup kitchen charity.
This year there will be a 'law and order' theme to proceedings, in our grandest setting yet, the Victorian Civil Courtroom inside Nottingham's impressive 'National Justice Museum'.
As always it will be a fun day with two film showings of Convict 99 and My Learned Friend, with special guests, Will Hay merchandise, live performances and lots of the usual madness throughout the day.
The weekend also marks Will Hay's birthday and a very special birthday of Graham Moffatt who would have been 100 on 6th December 2019.
Thanks as always for supporting the Will Hay Appreciation Society, we look forward to seeing you there, Tom & Steve
