I hereby certify that I am the rightful owner/custodian of the bird. I hereby surrender any and all property rights to the bird and certify that no other person has any right of property or claim to this bird. I understand that by surrendering my property rights to the bird, the charity will act in the best interests of the bird detailed above which may include adopting/safehousing to guardians of its choosing or introducing to Parrot Trust Scotland aviaries. I understand that once I relinquish the bird to Parrot Trust Scotland, the bird may only be returned if it is agreed by all parties involved that it is in the best interests of the bird so to do. The reasons for this will be discussed and documented wth all parties in agreement (ie Parrot Trust Scotland, the previous owner and the current adopter/safehouse provider). I confirm that I have read and understand these terms of this bird surrender form and have signed accordingly.
