I only use products, which are fully compliant with EU & FDA toy and cosmetic regulations, and are non-toxic. My face paints are specially formulated to be friendly to the most delicate skin. The face paints are all water-based, so they're as easy to get off as they are to put on. Soap and water is recommended to remove face paint products. Most ‘reactions’ to face paints are not from the products, but from the method of removal. Baby wipes are not recommended as most contain alcohol which can irritate the skin and cause soreness. Despite this, it is still possible for anyone to have an allergic type of reaction and if this occurs, medical advice should be sought. If a child is known to have eczema, has a contagious illness such as measles, chicken pox or a viral cold, has a contagious skin infection such as ringworm or any other open wound or sore to the facial skin, they cannot be painted. For health and safety reasons, I strictly do not face paint or do glitter tattoos on children under 3. Most of the products I use are only recommended by manufacturers for over 3 yrs. I may be able to offer a simple design on the arm as an alternative.I do not use UV paints on children under 12 as they are not recommended.
