The successful candidate will become a member of CIP’s investment team focusing on markets outside OECD countries, playing a vital and accountable role in the investment process. Responsibilities will include:
Oversight financial model development to assess development approaches, value assets and evaluate financing structures
Analysis of opportunities across commercial, financial and macro factors
Lead preparation and review of presentation materials to evaluate investment opportunities including for the investment committee
Undertaking and managing due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation
Working with and managing external advisers including legal, financial and technical to execute investments
Work closely with analysts to develop and enhance their skill set
The work is project driven and will involve all aspects of the infrastructure investment process including sourcing and acquisition, financing, and exits.

At least three years recent experience within Private Equity, Infrastructure Investment, and/or Investment Banking or similar
Strong academic background with a relevant degree from a leading university
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and very strong attention to detail
Proven corporate finance skillset and experience with project finance
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Ability to work well and manage analysts under pressure and tight deadlines
Detailed understanding of energy and infrastructure assets
Experience and/or language skills from Latin America or Asia will be considered a key strength.
