We request that you share with us any reports that you may have from the psychologist, psychiatrist, counsellor or school. The more information our camp staff have about the camper’s behavioural, social and cognitive abilities, the better we will be able to suit our program to their needs. This is not compulsory but it is very beneficial for the camper.
Camp activities start at 9h00 sharp and end at 17h00. We ask that you drop off your child between 8h45 to 9h00 and pick up between 17h00 to 17h15. Please note that dropping off or picking up outside of these times will create a lot of difficulties for the staff and the other campers therefore ASK has penalty fees set in place to cover the costs of these incidents.
There are excursions every Wednesday to various locations. Past locations include the bowling alley, the park or the swimming pool. You should prepare your child with appropriate clothing, sunblock, a travel card, diapers, a hat or anything else that he/she may personally need.
You will be informed of the week’s excursions on Mondays when you sign in your camper, so that you can prepare accordingly.
Every week the campers work on a little performance, talent show or catwalk that they perform on Friday afternoons at 16h00 – 17h00. As the campers practice very hard and are so proud of their achievements, we do ask the parents to try their best to attend the performance.
Morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack will be provided at camp. We serve a large variety of healthy, fresh food. If your child has severe food restrictions or allergies, please pack them a lunch and two snacks for each day at camp.
