Membership Bursary Application Form

Please read before applying:

The National Youth Theatre accepts applications for Fee Waivers or Bursaries to cover the cost of a NYT Membership activation or renewal (£35) for one year.

To be eligible for an NYT Membership Bursary you must have already:

Successfully auditioned or interviewed to join the National Youth Theatre
Completed an intake Acting or Backstage Course with the National Youth Theatre

If you have not done either of these things please return to www.nyt.org.uk/bursaries to complete the Hub Subscription application form where you can apply for a bursary to support your application to join the National Youth Theatre as a Member.

Below is what you will need to provide in order for your application to the NYT Bursary fund to be considered.

Where you are unable to provide supporting documentation to evidence your circumstances you will need to supply a supporting reference from an adult who knows you well, but is not related to you, who can verify your circumstances. This person should be currently employed in a professional occupation e.g. a teacher, an employer, a health worker, a community worker etc. (Bursary template forms can be downloaded on the next slide).

All bursaries are awarded in accordance with NYT's published bursary policy available at www.nyt.org.uk/accessibility-and-bursaries.
