    Best Young Tourism Ambassador
  • This award is open to any individual age 30 or under, currently working, studying, or volunteering in the tourism sector in Swansea Bay & Neath Port Talbot who can demonstrate they go the extra mile to consistently provide a unique and memorable visitor experience, extending a warm welcome, making an extraordinary effort to provide more than is expected to the visitors who come to our area.  A champion of green tourism, a champion social inclusivity, a champion of local Welsh food and drink. An individual who has dedication and passion and who has gone the extra mile for tourism in the community e.g. volunteering, getting involved in projects, campaigning.

    The winner could also be a student who is showing great promise in the industry.

    Note: You may wish to type up your answers in a word document and keep a copy to avoid losing your work before submitting. It is worth keeping a copy of your answers and using them if entering other categories.

    Tips will be given along with each question to give you a clearer understanding of what information we are looking for.

    The winner of the best young tourism ambassador category will be put forward against winners from Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards for a chance to be an automatic finalist in the Visit Wales National Tourism Awards in 2020!
