  • How to enter

Please read the following information before deciding to enter. If this event is right for you, please fill in the registration form, leaving all of your details so we can be in touch.

    • The event is open to 40 chair users. This year, we are only able to open the race up to those who wish to compete in a manual chair. Each competitor is allowed to have a support team of up to 4 people to assist, along the course. Those who are confident on rugged terrain for 7km with a few tricky ascents are more than welcome to race independently.
    • The cost is £20 per individual competitor and £30 per team.

    General info

    • Accessible toilets will be provided.
    • Stewards will be situated around the course.
    • Wheelchair manufacturers and accessible adventure providers are attending, alongside representatives from the Cairngorms National Park and other national access schemes.
    • Food and refreshments available.
    • Please note, spaces are limited and selections may have to be made for a variety of reasons.

    Accommodation

This year we are unable to take bookings for accommodation, so each competitor/team will have to make their own arrangements. However, we can guide people in the right direction as we appreciate how challenging finding accessible and suitable accommodation can be.

The midday start time should enable competitors who live nearby to travel on the day.

There are also more accessible, chain hotels available in Inverness (drive time approx: 1hr 15mins).

Glenmore has its own campsite with wheelchair accessible shower and toilets.

There are a number of hotels and hostels in Aviemore and the surrounding area that have accessible rooms.
