Please make sure your email address is accurate and up to date as this is how Manchester Pride will contact you about the status of your application and conduct all future correspondence.
If any information about your entry changes after you have submitted your application, please email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible to avoid delays and additional fees on the day of the Parade.
Manchester Pride has an pre-agreed window of time and resource to deliver the Parade. We work hard all year to ensure the safety of all participants and visitors whilst minimising the impact on the day to day running of the City.
The plans for Parade including the number of participants taking part has been agreed in your application process and then signed off by our Safety Advisory Group.
The agreed number of walkers per entry was as follows;
A: 50 walkers maximum
B: 100 walkers maximum
C: 150 walkers maximum
D: 15 walkers maximum (in addition to up to 30 participants on the vehicle)
E: 65 walkers maximum (in addition to up to 30 participants on the vehicle)
Additional walkers turning up on the day will increase the amount of time and resource needed to deliver the Parade. Manchester Pride may incur additional charges as a result of this which must be passed on.
This year, in order to assist our stewarding team to maintain a safe Parade, we are asking everyone taking part in the Parade to wear a wristband. These will be issued and collected from the Check-in Point on Liverpool Road on the day.
Organisations will be issued with 50, 100, or 150 wristbands for walking entries and up to an additional 15 or 65 wristbands for walkers alongside a vehicle entry.
If you require additional wristbands, then you will be liable to pay for an additional Parade entry at the same cost as the category you currently have booked at the final tiered cost.
We will issue the additional wristbands if you require them and then invoice your organisation after the event.
Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.
