As the new Senior Controller, you will be responsible for internal controls, statutory compliance, and financial controlling of assigned entities within CooperSurgical International. Entities will typically be sales and distribution subsidiaries. Furthermore, you will be hands on in regard to developing and maintaining complex financial systems.
Your areas of responsibility will also consist of:
Responsible for month end close process for assigned legal entities including reconciliation review and analysis of results
Primary point of contact regarding internal controls, statutory compliance, internal audit, and external audit
Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls framework and statory compliance for assigned legal entities
Participate in the annual budget creation process, and the monthly actual vs budget update cycle
Business partner to GM / Leader of assigned legal entities
Business partner to select internal departments within the Danish legal entity
Controlling partner to a Controller in the APAC region
Primary point of contact / responsible for 1-2 topics which apply to the entire international group – topics include controls, tax, transfer price, process automation / design, statutory reporting, production / inventory, fixed assets, ect. Topics will be rotated to ensure continued development of staff
The ideal candidate has solid experience with audit within preferably Big 4 audit firms or has a similar position in an international company combined with a relevant degree at master level. You have excellence intercultural skills and you are fluent in English, both written and verbal. Furthermore, you have strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to clearly communicate findings and conclusions. As well as these qualities are expected:

In order to be successful in this position it is important that you can deliver a high-quality work standard within monthly reporting and business partnering. Furthermore, you can ensure no deficiencies from internal auditors and an efficient process with external auditors as it relates to financial reporting and communicates fluently in English, verbal and written.
