I give permission for my child to use the internet in line with the school's policy
I agree that my child can use the school’s ICT systems and internet when appropriately supervised by a member of school staff. I agree to the conditions set out below for pupils using the school’s ICT systems and internet, and will make sure my child understands these.

I give permission for my child to borrow from the school library and I accept a nominal charge (at present £5.00) will be charged for the loss or negligent damage of articles (book, CD, soft toy etc) borrowed from the library.

Images
These permissions are valid for the period of time your child attends this setting within The Solent Schools/De Curci Academy Trust. The consent will automatically expire after this time. We will not re-use any photographs or recordings after your child leaves this setting without additional consent. We will not use the full names (first name and surname) of any child in a photographic image or video on our websites, in social media, on DVDs or in any other of our electronic or printed publications. First names may be used. We may use group photographs or footage with general labels. We will only use images of children who are suitably dressed. This consent can be withdrawn by you at any time by informing us in writing.

May we use your child’s image in displays around the school?
May we record your child’s image or use videos for assessments, monitoring or other educational uses within the school? These images or recordings will be used internally only.
May we use your child’s image in our school/trust printed publications that we produce for educational and promotional purposes?

1 Websites and social media sites can be viewed worldwide; not just in the United Kingdom where UK law applies.

2 The press are exempt from GDPR and Data Protection Act and may want to include the names and personal details of children and adults in the media.

As the child’s parents/carers, you agree that if you take photographs or video recordings of your child/ren which include other pupils, you will use these for personal and family use only and you will not post on any personal social media accounts. You understand that where consent has not been obtained from the other parents for any other use, you would be in breach of the Data Protection Act 1998 if you used the recordings for any wider purpose.
Is your child starting in Year R (EYFS)?
As your child is joining us in Year R, please read and agree to the following allowing us to use the Tapestry Online Learning Journal with you and your child. More details HERE.

I give permission for staff at Solent Infant School to take photographs and videos of my child to be used in their Online Learning Journal.

I give permission for my child to appear in any group photos used in the Learning Journal. I understand that my child’s image will be viewable by all parents/ carers of the pupils featured in that particular photo.

I agree not to electronically share, by social media or other platforms, any part of my child’s Learning Journal (including photographs and videos). I understand that my child’s Learning Journal is to be used for my own personal use (meaning that information cannot be shared with others, or published in any way without the explicit written consent of the parents or carers of those children who may be included.)
