Please note that we are currently experiencing an exceptionally high volume of referrals and regrettably have made the very difficult decision to close all of our THERAPY waitlists for clients who are completely new to The Children's Clinic. This includes Psychology Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy.

We do have however some availability for therapy for clients who have attended for an assessment with us.

We are also temporarily closing our Occupational Therapy Assessment waitlist, unless you are doing it as part of a multi disciplinary autism assessment or you choose to go ahead with an Occupational Therapy assessment after a full autism assessment.

We have also had to temporarily close our waitlist for Dyslexia/Psycho-Educational Assessments.

We are working hard at opening all of these to everyone once again.

However, as well as assessments, we do still offer once off Parent Consultation appointments where you can talk through your concerns with a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist and/or Speech & Language Therapist and get some advice around next best steps.

    2. Significant mood/mental health concerns, including depression, post-traumatic stress, self-harm or suicidal thoughts (Please speak instead to your GP for an urgent referral to CAMHS and to discuss other options. If you are immediately concerned for your child’s safety present to A&E).
    3. Eating Disorders
    4. Auditory Processing Disorder
    5. Reports for family court proceedings
    6. Trauma or abuse
