WHY ENTER?

Any business that wins an award definitely becomes a more attractive place for employees to work! Winning an award not only brings credibility to a business, but also gains media interest. Appreciation and recognition are powerful motivators in any business, ultimately leading to an increase in performance, productivity, morale, employee retention and overall satisfaction. They are also two of the top principles that that people value in their jobs! Becoming a finalist or a winner in a business award category also gives team members, customers and suppliers a sense of achievement and creates that ‘feelgood’ factor. That’s why winning a Pharmacy in Focus Award - or even being recognised as a finalist - is sure to boost staff morale and motivate every member of staff to put their heart and soul into the business.

WHO CAN ENTER?

This category is open to all contractor or employee pharmacists, pharmacy teams working in independent or group pharmacies, and practice-based pharmacists, who can demonstrate an outstanding contribution to their local communities through the provision of health and wellbeing initiatives.

All entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts.

JUDGES WILL BE LOOKING FOR:

• Examples of what you/your pharmacy demonstrated commitment to health and wellbeing

• Information on what health and wellbeing issues you identified within the local community/individuals

• Demonstrate how you have benefitted the local community with your wellbeing initiatives

• Please supply dates where applicable or indicate the duration of the programmes carried out
