Entry is FREE
Entry deadline is 28th February 2022
WHY ENTER?
This award strives to recognise pharmacy teams that have made a significant contribution to patient outcomes and patient care throughout their local community, while simultaneously demonstrating excellent business acumen and continuous business growth.
The winning team will be one in which every member of the team - pharmacist, medicines counter assistant, dispensing assistant or technician, superintendent pharmacist, pharmacy manager or pre-registration trainee - has played a vital role in delivering a first-class service to the local patients, and which will also be able to clearly demonstrate the benefits of collaborative team working.
The award will also be open to those pharmacies who have been working with local communities or charities to develop initiatives, which help to contribute to the wider community whether on a wholly healthcare or overall ‘wellbeing’ basis
WHO CAN ENTER?
This category is open to all pharmacy teams - either independent or chain - which can clearly demonstrate a successful track record of providing initiatives and projects for the benefits of their local patients, in addition to a strong business profile.
All entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts.
JUDGES WILL BE LOOKING FOR
The judges will be looking for pharmacy teams which have collaboration and teamwork at the heart of their business, with staff members who actively encourage and support each other.
This teamwork will be evident in the examples put forward of good practice, in which the pharmacy delivered clear benefits to patients in the local community.
In particular, the judges will be looking for clearly-defined, well-evidenced examples of initiatives and projects, which not only demonstrate innovation, productivity and pharmacy excellence, but which also highlight the vital role played by team collaboration and integrated working. Of special interest to the judges will be those pharmacy initiatives which have helped to provide ‘outreach’ to the community through projects and initiatives that have helped to promote health and wellbeing well outside of the pharmacy walls.
