Nominations will be accepted from the general public, communinty organisations and elected representatives. Self nominations will not be accepted!
Who may be nominated
Any individual giving of their time to help others in the community may be nominated. They should volunteer within Waterford City/County. Groups of people will not be eligible.The activity for which individuals are nominated for cannot be for any work rewarded financially.
Completing the nomination form
Nominations can be made online below or soft copies are available by contacting Muriel Tobin at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 058-21198
Supporting information is welcome, maximum of 4 items
The award winner will be decided by a judging panel. The judging panels decision will be made on the information supplied.
Awards Announcement & Gala Ceremony
The award winner will be announced and presented at the gala dinner ceremony on Thursday 21st November in The Park Hotel, Dungarvan. All those nominated will be invited to attend the ceremony. The ceremony will be presented by WLRfms Oliver Carroll & Mary O' Neill.
*Some tips on filling out your nomination*
To help you fill out your nomination keep in mind the following:
- The volunteers involvement and participation, particularly what they have achieved,
- How many years etc giving examples of how they have made a difference.
- The commitment and impact they have made on the local/wider community
- Highlight their personal qualities and attributes that they bring to the role.
