  • HOST PARTICIPATION STATEMENT

By submitting this form you are agreeing to the following:

I confirm that I am a competent all-round climber with sound navigation skills, and a good knowledge of the Cairngorms, Glen Coe and Ben Nevis and other mountain areas likely to be visited during the International Scottish Winter Meet 2020.

If selected I understand that I will be acting as a host to international guests. I will be climbing with them on an individual basis and understand that they may well have little or no knowledge of Scottish winter climbing and conditions, or the local geography, and that there may be a language barrier involved.

I accept the principles of the following Mountaineering Scotland participation statement:
Mountaineering Scotland recognises that climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.
