  • Is your project single storey?*
  • For projects up to 100m2 and no higher than a single storey, the following standard mechanical attachment pattern applies and there is no need to complete a windload calculation request.

    Your perimeter and corner zone is a standard 1000mm around the roof pereimeter. Membrane lap fasteners within this zone should be installed at no greater than 150mm centres.

    For the remaining area, membrane lap fasteners should be installed at no greater than 350mm centres.

     

  • For projects up to 100m2 and no higher than three storeys, the following standard mechanical attachment pattern applies and there is no need to complete a windload calculation request.

    Your perimeter and corner zone is a standard 2000mm around the roof pereimeter. Membrane lap fasteners within this zone should be installed at no greater than 150mm centres.

    For the remaining area, membrane lap fasteners should be installed at no greater than 190mm centres.

  • What size are the insulation boards?*
  • 2400 x 1200mm insulation boards should be mechanically fastened with at least 11nr fasteners per board:

     

  • 1200 x 1200mm insulation boards should be mechanically fastened with at least 5nr fasteners per board:

  • Other insulation boards should be mechanically fastened to ensure there are no fewer than 3.47 per m2.

    • Windload calculations are affected by internal air pressure. If the deck supporting the waterproofing system is not completely air-tight, plase specify what openings the building has. 'Dominant' means a significant portion of at least one wall, such as a roller shutter door, is present. 'Fully Open' means that at least one building face either is or can be completely absent.
