Bluedot is an award winning festival of discovery at the Jodrell Bank Observatory. Bluedot celebrates the infinite playground that exists around us all. It is a weekend thriving with ideas, inspiration and fun beneath the stars in the Cheshire countryside. From astronomy to comedy, literature to quantum physics, we are looking for contributors in the spheres of science, technology and the arts. We are particularly enthusastic about ideas that invite audiences to observe, explore and experiment.
We are accepting proposals from creative souls with bold ideas, that want to showcase your science and art, provoke our audiences to experiment and inspire them to explore.
We welcome proposals from people with wonderful imaginations that can bring something unique to Bluedot, from passion projects to established artists.
This year we are particularly looking for, though not limited to:
- Performance pieces/shows
- Performance Art
- Workabout artists and DIY costume creators
- Light Art/sound installations
Tell us all about your idea below, and we could see you in the fields!
PLEASE NOTE: bluedot has a limited budget and is looking to support affordable projects with 'support in kind' wherever possible.
