  • Appeals for this school will be held online week commencing 1st June 2026

    Before completing this form we strongly advise you read our Appeal Information Booklet and our Admission Policy. The booklet provides information on how to submit your evidence and the appeals process. It is your responsiblity to submit evidence in the correct way and by the published deadlines. School and the Appeals Panel will not request it from you.

    Please see the Appeals Timetable for information regarding the deadlines for lodging appeal applications and the submission of supporting documentation.

    Approximately 2 weeks before the appeal you be will sent further information  including the Governors' Statement of Case and your appeal hearing appointment date and time.

    For further information on the admission appeals process, parents/carers are referred to the School Admissions Appeals Code 2022 published by the Department for Education.

  • Reasons for appeal

  • You may submit information in support of your case below, or by Registered Post as instructed in the Appeal Information Booklet. This must be received by the deadlines given in the Appeal Timetable, both of which are found on our school website www.agsb.co.uk.

  • Evidence and supporting documents

    If you wish, please submit PDFs of documentation in support of your appeal case. Please see the Appeal Information Booklet on our website www.agsb.co.uk for guidance.

  • Do you require a friend/representative/interpreter at the hearing?

    If so please make arrangements for a relative or friend to attend with you as an interpreter. This person will usually already have knowledge of your circumstances and can help explain your case to the appeal panel.
  • Appeal Hearing Appointment

  • Our School Appeals are administered by Trafford Governance Services. They will contact you approximately 2 weeks before the hearing regarding the date and time of the appeal, and also send you the relevant paperwork including the School Governors' Statement of Case. They can be contacted on school.appeals@trafford.gov.uk .

    If you fail to attend a scheduled appeal, your Appeal Hearing will be heard in absentia.
