Kenya is a developing nation and as a result, there is a number of health risks and concerns to be considered when travelling there. Tropical diseases such as malaria are prevalent in the region and as a result, there are a number of vaccinations, immunisations and antimalarials that we require every visitor to receive before coming to Kenya and, as required, take for the duration of their stay/until treatment is completed.
These requirements are outlined in the document below and are in line with the World Health Organisation and Tropical Medicine Physicians advisories and recommendations.
I understand that there are health risks connected to my attending the 'Kenya Mission Trip March 2018'. I recognise that I have received information outlining the relevant vaccinations, immunisations and antimalarials available to me as a traveller to Kenya. I understand that KCP/CTP-K/CTF require me to receive, take and complete all courses of medication outlined by The World Health Organisation for travel to Kenya. I accept full responsibility for my health and well-being in this area and I accept that it is my responsibility to organise my vaccinations, immunisations and antimalarials so that I am sufficiently covered for the duration of the trip.
I understand that the full payment of the trip fees including airfare, accommodation, food, transportation, medical fees and all personal expenses are my responsibility.
