I/we acknowledge that I/we are now required to make a payment of a holding deposit, which is equivalent to 1 weeks rent. Without this, the application cannot proceed any further and the property is still fully available.
I understand that this holding deposit is non-refundable if:
1. The requested documentation from the referencing company is not provided within 5 working days from the date the holding deposit was paid.
2. Any applicant fails the right to rent check
3. Any applicant(s) provide false or misleading information
4. If the tenant withdraws their application altogether.
I further understand that this holding deposit is refundable if the landlord declines the application after receiving the documentation requested.
Upon receipt of the holding deposit, your details will be sent to a referencing company of our choice, so please keep an eye on your e-mails for this form link.
If my application is successful, I will make payment of the first month’s rent, minus the holding deposit paid and full deposit* on commencement of the tenancy agreement/move in date.
I declare the details given on the Stage 1 & Stage 2 forms are true and correct and will be the basis of any Contract between myself and Cooper & Cutt. I acknowledge this is not the Tenancy Agreement and does not represent any offer between Cooper & Cutt and the prospective Tenant(s).
By signing this Stage 2 Application form document, you acknowledge that you have been provided with a copy of the Government leaflet called “How to rent” and understand its content.
